Hello, my name is Connor, and I am a multidisciplinary engineer. I created this blog to showcase personal projects related to engineering.

My path to where I am today started at Loughborough University, where I earned a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, cultivating a lifelong passion for maths, science, and how things are made. Since leaving university, I have worked as an Aerodynamics Engineer, Test Engineer, and Project Manager across various engineering firms. I have experience across the full product lifecycle, including design, testing, manufacturing, and maintenance, as well as CAD and computer programming.
I also fell in love with skiing at university, and these dual passions have defined my career ever since. By the time I graduated during the COVID lockdown of 2020, I had developed ‘the bug’ for skiing—a passion that would prove hard to shake. This ultimately led me to leave my job at Swegon UK&I and move to Canada for three years.

In Canada, I climbed mountains, planted over 100,000 trees, and deepened my love for the outdoors. I also qualified as a CSIA Level 3 Ski Instructor. As a ski coach, I worked with a diverse range of clients, but a personal highlight was coaching the U12 Fernie Freeride team. I also came full circle, finishing my time as a ski instructor by teaching the very course that had once trained me, cementing my impact on the next generation of instructors.
Skiing is still a big part of my life, but I also want to return to engineering and kick-start my career. The projects on this blog are aimed at showcasing my continued commitment to professional development and my drive to stay current with my engineering skills.
